KAHLUA

Joyce Ostergard

4 cups sugar

1 (20 oz.) jar instant coffee

1 vanilla bean, (split and clean out seeds)

4/5 qt. vodka

2 cups boiling water

Mix dry ingredients together. Add boiling water. Stir­

and  dissolve; cool.     Put  vanilla   bean in   1/2  gallon jug.

Pour vodka mixture into jug. Age 30 days.

 

 

ORANGE SHINE

1 6 oz. orange juice

1 6 oz. lemonade

2 qts. ginger ale

1 pt. sherbet (lime)

1/5 rum

1/2 can (46 oz.) pineapple juice

 

Mix all together and serve in punch bowl. Serves 28.

 

ROSE PUNCH

1 Qt. Rose Wine

2 12 oz. cans frozen lemonade

1 qt. rasberry sherbet

 

Mix together in punch bowl and serve.

 

PEACH SOURS

Joyce Ostergard

1 6 oz. can frozen lemonade

2 fresh peaches, unpeeled, remove seed

1 6 oz. can full of bourbon

1 tray of ice

 

Mix in blender and serve. Place remainder in freezer. Tangerine juice can be used in place of lemonade.
