MARINADE

1 small bottle catsup
1 pkg. Good Seasons Italian salad dressing
1/4 cup Wesson oil
1/2 cup red cooking wine
1/2 lemon juice
1 cup water
a little parsley
Use to
marinate chuck roast and shish kabobs.

2 cups soy sauce
1/2 cup sherry or vermouth
1 cup sugar
1 Tbsp. ginger
1/4 cup catsup garlic
Marinate
chicken or beef, then barbeque or bake. Also good on pork
chops or spareribs.

1 box Nature Valley Granola cereal
1 cup peanuts
1/2 cup cut-up dates
1/2 cup cut-up apricots
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup melted margarine
6 oz. chocolate or butterscotch morsels
Mix
all ingredients except morsels and margarine. Pour melted margarine over and
mix thoroughly. Put in a 13x9 inch pan, and bake at 350 degrees uncovered for
15 minutes. Cool and add chocolate or butterscotch morsels. Yield: 8 cups.
Variations:
Use 3/4 cup
M&M's or flaked coconut instead of chocolate morsels.
Substitute
sunflower seeds or cashews for peanuts.
Use
other dried fruits, such as bananas, for dates or apricots.
