LEMON-LIME SALAD

1 cup boiling water

1-3 oz. pkg. lime jello

1-3 oz pkg. lemon jello

1 cup mayonnaise

1 cup sour cream

1 cup cottage cheese

1 (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained

2 tsp. prepared horseradish

1/2 cup chopped pecans

 

Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into 1 1/2 qt. mold.

 

 

LETTUCE AND PEA SALAD

Mix together and use as first layer in salad bowl or 9x11 pan:

 

lettuce

celery

small onion

green pepper

 

Add 10 oz. pkg. frozen peas as second layer.

Mix 2 cups mayonnaise and 2 Tbsp. sugar for third layer.

Add 10 slices fried, crumbled bacon.

Top with shredded cheddar cheese.

 

LIME JELlO SALAD

1 3 oz. lime jello           1 cup diced apples

1/2 cup Miracle Whip         1/3 cup English walnuts

1 cup red tokay grapes

Dissolve jello in 1 1/2 cups boiling water. Let chill

until  slightly  thickened.   Beat  Miracle  Whip in.  Add

remaining ingredients and chill.
