LAYERED DESSERT

First Layer:

 

Melt 1 stick of butter. Add 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans. Mix and press in bottom of pan. Bake 15 mins. at 350 degrees. Cool.

 

Second Layer:

 

Mix 1 cup powdered sugar and 8 oz. cream cheese. Put over first layer.  Add 8 oz. Cool Whip.

Third Layer:

Mix 2 boxes instant vanilla pudding (or chocolate) and 3 cups   milk. Beat until thick.  Add to first two layers.  Refrigerate.

 

LAYERED PUDDING DESSERT

1 1/2 cups Bisquick

1 Tbsp. brown sugar

3 Tbsp. firm margarine

1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

1 cup powdered sugar

8 oz. cream cheese, softened

chilled whipped topping (or may use Cool Whip)

1 small pkg. instant chocolate pudding

1 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding

3 cups milk

1 Tbsp. powdered sugar

1/3 cup chopped nuts

 

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix brown sugar, Bisquick, and margarine. Stir in chips. Press into a 13x9 inch pan. Bake until light brown, about 10 minutes. Cool.

 

Beat 1 cup powdered sugar with cream cheese and one cup Cool Whip. Spread on first layer. Combine chocolate pudding and 1 1/2 cups milk. Spread over cream cheese mixture. Combine vanilla pudding with 1 1/2 cups milk and spread over chocolate layer. Combine 1 Tbsp. powdered sugar with remaining whipped topping. Spread in pan. Top with nuts and refrigerate.
